The Zoom presentation Cycle Schenectady hosted Wednesday night on the city’s bicycle master plan was a success, with more than 50 people attending. The participants — Cycle Schenectady President Art Clayman, Capital District Transportation Committee Transportation Planner Rima Shamieh, City Engineer Chris Wallin and Planning and Development Director Kristin Diotte — covered a lot of ground and had a good discussion, with a lively question-and-answer period at the end. The session was recorded, and here is a link: https://youtu.be/qA52kqf-320

Below you will find a letter about the event that Clayman wrote to those who registered, as well as a link to a Daily Gazette news story about it.

Hi,

I’d like to thank you all for your interest in Cycle Schenectady and the webinar we hosted on the city’s bicycle master plan Wednesday night. We were pleased with the turnout (more than 50 people attended), as well as the quality of the presentation and discussion that followed during the question-and-answer period.
It was also very encouraging to learn that the city has some bicycle-friendly projects about to start and more planned.
If you registered for the webinar and were unable to attend, or did attend and want to take another, perhaps closer look, here is a link to the recording. https://youtu.be/qA52kqf-320
Meanwhile, we are happy to report that our new website is up and running. To learn more about Cycle Schenectady and upcoming events, visit us at www.cycleschenectady.com, or our Facebook page.
Best,
Art Clayman, Cycle Schenectady President
